Thanks! I spent the whole week-end trying to track down the root cause. This issue seems to come up randomly. What's worse is all of it is proprietary so you're locked in to using IE. Ugh! On a win7 machine a win update fixed it. On an older xp machine I tried to isolate the issue by ruling out each component such as java, IE, activex etc... too bad it's not a cross platform. Worse case scenario there is a possibility of bad coding, but works on other machines so that rules that out for the most part.
